Silver didn't know what salt water taffy was, so he wasn't able to identify specifically what his arm tasted like at the moment. He did know, however, that it tasted pretty damn good. Did he usually taste like this? Rey surely would have mentioned something by now.

Maybe it was a side effect of the parrot thing? That thought was distracting enough to ruin his attempt to learn cooking via osmosis by watching the Food Network.

"That's cruel," he said, leaning in to kiss her neck. Just to make sure the taste was everywhere.

"We might need to take advantage," she said, tilting her head to get more of that.

"Don't you have training?" he murmured, kissing her neck again.

"I make my own schedule," Rey pointed out. "I could be convinced to go this afternoon."

Silver gave her neck another lick before pulling away to look at her. "Well so long as I'm not interrupting anything important..."

"Not interrupting. Putting it on hold," she told him.

"What if you get really distracted?" he asked. "Think you'd skip the training entirely?"

"Are you setting a goal?" she smiled.

"I'm just exploring all possible options," he said.

"I think if it happened," she said with another kiss, "I would have to go extra hard tomorrow."

"You know...I think I could live with that." Of course, he wasn't the one doing the training.

"You could, hm?" she said, turning her attention to his neck now.

He smiled again, tilting his neck toward her. "I have a lot of faith in your ability to make up for a missed day of training."

"We haven't been distracted all day since the pollen," she said, nipping a little because she could.

"We're overdue then," he said, putting his hands on her waist. "And it'd be a shame to not take full advantage of the island being nice to us."

"It's quality time," she said, moving his shirt so she could get to the crook of his neck and shoulder better.

"We are still making up for the parrot incident," he said. "This all works out. So no training today?"

"We'll see," she teased. "Can't make it too easy on you."

"Oh I plan to do my very best to convince you." Probably not a whole lot of talking would be involved.

"I'm intrigued," she told him, moving her hands to play with the bottom of his shirt. Obviously she'd have to make sure that area tasted the same.

Well it was a good idea to be thorough...

"I have been told I can be very convincing," he said, reaching for one of her hands. First to press a kiss against her palm and enjoy that ice cream flavor, then to lead her towards the bedroom.

"Oh, you are being convincing," she said, letting herself be led.

"This is going to be easier than I thought," he joked. "Haven't even taken any clothes off or anything."

"The bedroom means we're not leaving for a while," she reasoned.

"That's a pretty accurate statement," he agreed. He let go of her hand once they were in the bedroom so he could take off his shirt.
