Silver didn't know what salt water taffy was, so he wasn't able to identify specifically what his arm tasted like at the moment. He did know, however, that it tasted pretty damn good. Did he usually taste like this? Rey surely would have mentioned something by now.

Maybe it was a side effect of the parrot thing? That thought was distracting enough to ruin his attempt to learn cooking via osmosis by watching the Food Network.

"You could, hm?" she said, turning her attention to his neck now.

He smiled again, tilting his neck toward her. "I have a lot of faith in your ability to make up for a missed day of training."

"We haven't been distracted all day since the pollen," she said, nipping a little because she could.

"We're overdue then," he said, putting his hands on her waist. "And it'd be a shame to not take full advantage of the island being nice to us."

"It's quality time," she said, moving his shirt so she could get to the crook of his neck and shoulder better.

"We are still making up for the parrot incident," he said. "This all works out. So no training today?"

"We'll see," she teased. "Can't make it too easy on you."

"Oh I plan to do my very best to convince you." Probably not a whole lot of talking would be involved.

"I'm intrigued," she told him, moving her hands to play with the bottom of his shirt. Obviously she'd have to make sure that area tasted the same.

Well it was a good idea to be thorough...

"I have been told I can be very convincing," he said, reaching for one of her hands. First to press a kiss against her palm and enjoy that ice cream flavor, then to lead her towards the bedroom.

"Oh, you are being convincing," she said, letting herself be led.

"This is going to be easier than I thought," he joked. "Haven't even taken any clothes off or anything."

"The bedroom means we're not leaving for a while," she reasoned.

"That's a pretty accurate statement," he agreed. He let go of her hand once they were in the bedroom so he could take off his shirt.

"Better," she smiled, dipping her head to start pressing kisses across his chest. Oh good, it tasted the same.

He smiled, sliding his fingers under her shirt. "I really hope we nail down what this taste is."

"I'm pretty determined to figure it out," she told him, tugging him towards the bed.

"It might take a lot of taste testing," he said, more than happy to follow her. "Think you're up to the challenge?"

"I know I am," she told him, moving so that she could pull her own shirt off.

"Very confident of you," he teased, sliding back onto the bed.

"I've set a goal for myself, and I like reaching those," she teased, getting her pants off before moving to straddle him on the bed.

Silver laughed lightly, putting his hands on her hips. "If there's one thing I've learned being with you, it's not to stand in the way between you and your goals."

"Some are more fun than others," Rey said, leaning in to kiss him.

She had another good point there. Silver slid his hands over her sides lightly, just enjoying the kissing aspect right now. The novelty of kissing being the same-yet-different with the whole flavor thing was not going to stop being fun any time soon.

It was such a good thing they were compatible in flavor, because kissing him was one of her very favorite things as it was. She was fine taking the time to enjoy that, and it wasn't going to stop her hands from wandering, either.
