Silver didn't know what salt water taffy was, so he wasn't able to identify specifically what his arm tasted like at the moment. He did know, however, that it tasted pretty damn good. Did he usually taste like this? Rey surely would have mentioned something by now.

Maybe it was a side effect of the parrot thing? That thought was distracting enough to ruin his attempt to learn cooking via osmosis by watching the Food Network.

"The bedroom means we're not leaving for a while," she reasoned.

"That's a pretty accurate statement," he agreed. He let go of her hand once they were in the bedroom so he could take off his shirt.

"Better," she smiled, dipping her head to start pressing kisses across his chest. Oh good, it tasted the same.

He smiled, sliding his fingers under her shirt. "I really hope we nail down what this taste is."

"I'm pretty determined to figure it out," she told him, tugging him towards the bed.

"It might take a lot of taste testing," he said, more than happy to follow her. "Think you're up to the challenge?"

"I know I am," she told him, moving so that she could pull her own shirt off.

"Very confident of you," he teased, sliding back onto the bed.

"I've set a goal for myself, and I like reaching those," she teased, getting her pants off before moving to straddle him on the bed.

Silver laughed lightly, putting his hands on her hips. "If there's one thing I've learned being with you, it's not to stand in the way between you and your goals."

"Some are more fun than others," Rey said, leaning in to kiss him.

She had another good point there. Silver slid his hands over her sides lightly, just enjoying the kissing aspect right now. The novelty of kissing being the same-yet-different with the whole flavor thing was not going to stop being fun any time soon.

It was such a good thing they were compatible in flavor, because kissing him was one of her very favorite things as it was. She was fine taking the time to enjoy that, and it wasn't going to stop her hands from wandering, either.

It really made a good thing even better. It was lucky they were both here long enough to not freak out about the whole thing and just enjoy it.

He slid one of his hands up even further, cupping her one of her breasts.

Rey sighed into the kiss, leaning into his hand just a little, in case he wasn't sure she liked that.

He didn't need really need the encouragement, but he liked it nevertheless. Silver moved his thumb over her nipple, biting down lightly on her lip at the same time.

That earned a more pleased sound out of her. She really did like letting him know when she liked something.

She also lightly scratched her nails over the back of neck. She'd probably be doing that harder later.

That had Silver letting out a please hum of his own. He tightened the fingers he had at her waist, scratching his nails lightly across her skin. That was also probably going to get harder later.

He pulled away from the kiss a moment later, only to duck his head down to mouth at her neck. That flavor really was everywhere.

She smiled at that and tilted her head for him, enjoying his mouth on her. She kept her hands moving over his skin, partly to be encouraging and partly because she didn't know how to stop at times like this.

"You know, I usually love doing this," he murmured, placing a bite on her shoulder. "But I really love it today."

"Definitely worth missing training," she agreed with a sigh.

And then remembered to add, "Potentially," to tease.

"Potentially?" he repeated. "Clearly I'm not being convincing enough."

He tightened his hold on her waist, only if to keep her steady as he rolled them over so he was on top.

She shifted under him to make herself comfortable, leaning up to kiss him again. "You're on the right track so far."

Well that was always nice to hear. He kissed Rey again, shifting some to settle between her legs. He probably should have taken his own pants off, but he'd realize that mistake soon enough.

It was an easy enough thing to remedy in a minute. Rey snaked her leg around his, kissing him back a little more needily.
