Silver didn't know what salt water taffy was, so he wasn't able to identify specifically what his arm tasted like at the moment. He did know, however, that it tasted pretty damn good. Did he usually taste like this? Rey surely would have mentioned something by now.

Maybe it was a side effect of the parrot thing? That thought was distracting enough to ruin his attempt to learn cooking via osmosis by watching the Food Network.

"I don't know what that is but I would like to try it," he said, snuggling in close and burying his face in the crook of Rey's neck. "I love you."

Meanwhile Rey was probably going to develop an Association with saltwater taffy after today.

"I love you," she said, smiling contentedly. "I can't believe you can make me feel like that."

"I'd say it's just a me thing but that sounds awfully self-centered," he joked.

"I think it's a you thing," she said, laughing softly. "And I'm really not interested in finding out otherwise."

"That's a relief," he said lightly, pressing a kiss against her neck. "I like the way you make me feel too."

That got a happy little sigh out of her. "Good thing we've got the whole day then, hmm?"
