Due to the insanity of the last week or so and the lack of magical fireplaces, Silver hadn't been able to make good on his romantic Christmas date with Rey. The yule log channel wasn't exactly the same as an actual fireplace but it was the best they could do without setting the building on fire.

There was also a distinct lack of Christmas decorations. Didn't want to risk anything coming to life and killing them.

"It's very odd there's just one channel dedicated to a yule log."

"Is this what you imagined from a fireplace date?" Silver murmured, nipping at her jaw.

"I figured we'd get here eventually," Rey said with a soft sigh. "Fires are only interesting to watch for so long."

"Fake ones even more so," he said, sliding his hands up her back.

"Really, this can help us pretend it's not fake," she told him, dipping her head to give his neck some more attention.

"Again with the good ideas," he murmured, curling one of his hands around the back of her neck to keep encouraging that. The other hand went under her shirt to run his fingers over her waist.

She'd answer that, but she was pretty focused here, kissing her way over his skin, occasionally nipping and then soothing the spot with her tongue.

Silver smiled, making a pleased humming noise at the bites. "You know, I believe I am warm enough to lose some of my clothes."

The fake yule log was working!

"Are you sure?" Rey asked, even as she pulled back to start playing with the bottom of his shirt. "I don't want you to get too cold."

“You are doing a remarkably good job keeping me warm,” he teased, already moving to lift his shirt up and off.

"I can do better," she said, looking him over appreciatively. "That's where I'm concerned."

"You can?" he asked. "I'm looking forward to see you make good on that claim."

"Okay..." she said, kissing him harder than she had been till now, since he was asking for it right there.

Silver smiled into the kiss, more than happy for her to go harder. He slid both of his hands under her shirt now, pushing it up because he wanted it off pretty badly.

Rey let go of him so she could raise her arms to help him get the shirt off, but she didn't break the kiss until she absolutely had to.

There was a few moments of appreciation after he pulled Rey's shirt off (really, he was a lucky man), before he was leaning in to kiss her chest.

Rey really didn't think she would ever get tired of this. She leaned into him a little, sliding a hand to the back of his head as encouragement.

Silver made another pleased noise, biting down lightly. There might be a mark there tomorrow but luckily Rey wasn't really known for wearing low cut shirts.

Even if she was, that was tomorrow's problem. She inhaled sharply at that, tightening her hand in his hair just a little.

"Harder," Silver mumbled, not really willing to pull away right this moment.

Big shocker, guy with long hair likes having it pulled.

She responded by tugging harder, arching against him a bit. "Better?"

Was a moan and an arch of his hips a good enough answer? Because that was what she was getting.

That was a great answer. Not wanting to disturb him while he was working, she slid her other hand down his side to toy with his waistband.

Silver smiled against Rey when he felt fingers at his waist. He lifted his head up for a quick kiss. "We're going to have to move some if you want those off."

"I really do," she told him, kissing him again before getting up to undo his pants.

She wasn't so much impatient as clothes were unnecessary right now.

They were extremely unnecessary. Silver lifted up his hips to help her along with that. "Yours should come off too."
