Due to the insanity of the last week or so and the lack of magical fireplaces, Silver hadn't been able to make good on his romantic Christmas date with Rey. The yule log channel wasn't exactly the same as an actual fireplace but it was the best they could do without setting the building on fire.

There was also a distinct lack of Christmas decorations. Didn't want to risk anything coming to life and killing them.

"It's very odd there's just one channel dedicated to a yule log."

Silver chuckled. "I can't believe you are suggesting patience at a time like this."

"I could take all the time I want, you know," Rey told him, but since she wasn't that mean and also she started the clothing removal, he could also watch her get her own pants off.

"I know you could." He was very glad she wasn't though and he leaned forward to help her with that. Mostly his idea of help was a lot of touching and really not being helpful at all.

She laughed softly, managing to get them down and kick them away, and then she placed her hands on his shoulders to give him room to touch all he wanted.

"Thank you for giving in to my impatience," he said lightly, placing his hands on her hips. He stroked the skin there softly for a moment before leaning in to press kisses against her stomach and hips.

"This feels a little like your plan to make me impatient." Not that she was complaining. While he was doing that, she'd let her hands wander over all the skin that was convenient to touch.

"Do you have any objections to that?" he asked, nipping at her hip.

"No," she said with a little sigh at that. "I trust your judgment here."

"Is this what you expected from our fireplace date?" he teased, pulling her closer to encourage her back onto his lap.

"I thought there'd be more talking first," Rey said, straddling his legs and sliding her arms around his neck. "But I really like this."

"We could talk some more if you'd like." Since he was already moving to kiss her neck he was fairly confident what her response would be.

"I don't see that going well," she smiled, tilting her neck to give him room.

She'd definitely get impatient and jump him.

Silver would never complain about her getting impatient and jumping him. It was how they got here in the first place, after all.

He bit down on the juncture of where her neck met shoulder, rolling his hips up at the same time. Obviously he had no interest in being a tease at the moment.

That elicited a groan along with a little, "More," even as she shifted her hips for a better angle to sink down onto him.

She wasn't much for teasing either right now.

“Jesus.” Rey wasting no time when she decided she wanted something was really one of Silver’s favorite things about her. Especially when she wanted him.

Thinking about that actually veered a little too close to feeling things he wasn’t ready to deal with yet.

He slid his hands down to her waist, steadying himself as he planted his good leg onto the floor to get the leverage he needed to thrust his hips up, slowly at first.

Rey bit her lip against a moan, letting him set the rhythm and meeting his hips with her own, lightly scratching short nails over his back to tease a little.

“Yes,” Silver murmured, mouthing at her neck and too in the moment to worry about if he was leaving any marks. “Harder.”

She was so not caring about marks right now. It was a quiet week anyway, and she liked that now.

She did increase the pressure of her nails, though, and if she didn't quite pick up the pace yet, the movements of her hips were definitely more deliberate.

Silver moaned softly at the added pressure. His pushed his hips up a little harder in response, and took advantage of this position by running his tongue across one of her nipples since they were right there.

"Mmm, yes," she breathed, leaning back slightly to give him even better access. She kept her movements steady, but if harder was the word for today she was happy to give him that.

It really was the word of the day, as evidenced by the fact that he was running his teeth gently against one of her nipples. His patience may have been fraying just a bit.

Apparently his fraying patience was really good for her, though, because that was great. But her little pleased noises were accompanied by her starting to speed up, just because it was becoming important that that happened.

Silver cursed under his breath, surging up to give Rey what was probably a uncoordinated kiss. It could probably be forgiven as most of his concentration was focused on helping her move faster since he could only do so much in this position.

She kissed him back, but moving made that more difficult, so she broke the kiss fairly quickly to bow her head and lightly bite down on his shoulder instead.

That earned her a pretty loud moan and a hard jerk of his hips. He could tell this was going to end sooner rather than later and he slid his hand between them to get her on the same page as him.

He may have been a pirate but he was an enough of a gentleman to get her to come first.
