Silver had actually planned on leaving the apartment today but the chocolate falling from the sky had him turning around and heading back into his apartment. He was vain enough to not want chocolate in his hair no matter how delicious it might turn out to be.

He shot Rey a quick text warning her of that weirdness and left his door unlocked just in case she wanted to avoid it together.

And as Rey had planned on going out, his timing was actually perfect. So instead she just went across the hall and knocked, not assuming she could just walk right in.

"If it's Rey the door's open." If it wasn't well...the door would still be open but he wouldn't like it if the person just walked in.

She opened the door and stepped inside, greeting him with, "You saved me from an evening of doing laundry."

Sure, there were ways around chocolate rain, but they didn't bring her over here.

"I figured it was what a good boyfriend would do," Silver said from his spot on the mermaid couch. "Thank god I had been paying attention I almost walked right into it."

She did still like the word 'boyfriend' thrown around like that.

"That would have been a disaster," she teased, taking a seat next to him.

"My hair might have been unsalvageable," he joked. "I would have had to cut it all off."

"Which would be terrible," she smiled, reaching to play with one of his curls. "Though I'm pretty sure it would wash out."

"Would you help me with that?" he asked.

"Of course. I think it's what a good girlfriend would do." She still liked that word too.

"That might make the chocolate all worth it," he said, putting an arm around her shoulders. "You, me, a nice hot bath..."

"This is sounding like a good idea even without the chocolate," she admitted, settling in against him.

"It sounds even better without the chocolate," he said. "I'd still let you wash my hair though."

"Do you have anything you need to be doing right now?" Rey asked.

Probably not, what with the text and the unlocked door and all.

"Not particularly, no," he said. "Why do you ask?"

He kind of had a feeling why she was asking.

"Because I definitely want to do this," she said.

"I was hoping you would say that," he said, already moving to get off the couch.

"You made it sound so good," she said, getting up herself.

"Well now I have to make sure I live up to my word," he teased as he led the way to the bathroom. Since he did have a bit of a love affair with running hot water he did actually have a lot of bath stuff for a grown man who claimed to be a badass pirate.

"You look prepared," Rey noted, not complaining at all about the amount of bath stuff.

Silver actually looked a little sheepish about that as he leaned over the tub to turn on the water. "It was all new to me at first. I wasn't actually sure what stuff I was supposed to have and then I found I liked a lot of it."

"Good. It's helpful right now," she pointed out. "I've only ever had showers myself."

But the one thing she did splurge a little on was body washes so she got it.

"I'm glad you don't think less of me because of my extensive bubble bath collection," he joked, setting his crutch aside and sitting on the edge of the tub. "Come here. Please."

She walked over, standing in front of him to see what he wanted her to do.

Silver placed his hands on Rey's hips, pushing up her shirt slightly. "May I?"

"You may," she said, smiling, moving her arms out of his way.
