Silver hadn't really been worried about Rey at the pub crawl because she was not much of a drinker, and knew how to take care of herself. So he didn't feel the need to wait up for her last night. However, she had been rather social the last couple days and Silver had been missing her company, which explained why he was sleeping in her bed instead of his own.

Which was pretty sappy. Oh well, that secret belonged to him. And the squirrels. And Rey if she came home before he woke up.

"We could sleep in today," she told him. "I haven't been to sleep."

“Semantics,” he said with a lazy smile. “I’m sleep deprived.”

"You've been talking to me, you know," she teased.

“Oh sure, put the blame on me,” he said, laughing lightly. “You’re the one crawling into bed all hours of the night.”

"My bed," she noted.

“Isn’t it more like our bed?” he teased. “The both of them.”

"This is true," she said. "Having commandeered the floor."

“We did,” he agreed. “We have the biggest apartment in the building. Two kitchens and everything.”

"Even though we really do not need two kitchens," she said.

“It’s entirely possible I might break something in one of the kitchens,” he said. “It’s good to have back up.”

"Or you could just not touch the kitchen on your own," Rey teased.

Half teased.

"That would make things rather difficult, if I had to be supervised for every meal." It would be the safest option, but unpractical.

"Yes. Though we do spend most of our time together," she said.

"We do," he agreed. "Hope that's not a problem."

"It's the very opposite of a problem," she said, kissing him again. "It's maybe my favorite thing."

"Good," he murmured. "It's my favorite thing too."

"Good. And I really like coming home to you in our bed." Had to try that out.

He smiled. "I can make that happen more often."

Or all the time, whichever.

"Always?" she asked. Subtly.

He laughed softly. "That works as well. I can do always."
