It turned out that the "You up?" text's meaning transcended time and space. Silver knew last night was a long time coming and yet he was still surprised when he woke up Saturday morning tangled up in bed with Rey. It was a pleasant surprise though and as he turned to wrap his arms around her more firmly it wasn't one he was looking to end any time soon.

Rey also tended to wake up early, so she'd more or less been in that mostly-awake state in a while and just really not wanting to move. So when he did that, she automatically snuggled closer and half-mumbled a, "Morning."
